The Central Board of Secondary Education and CISCE are expected to re-think the decision of 30% syllabus reduction, and reducing it by whooping 50%. That means it is expected that half of the syllabus could be reduced. Although we do not have any confirmation about this as of now, this is the news that is floating.
Also, the CBSE and CISCE may align this year’s board exams with a delay of 45-60 days. That means, there are chances of conducting board exams in April-May next year.

Though in non-containment zones, the schools have been allowed to reopen lately, parents are quite skeptical of sending their wards to the school.
